#NFIS2020 provides an ideal platform for eradicating drugs from Indian society. This summit will ensure we are one step closer in the eradication process and we aim to announce a drug-free society for our future generation. The summit aims to bring together policymakers, leading researchers, youth’s, law enforcement, celebrities, sports personalities, public health workers and NGO’s to exchange and share their experiences about all aspects of effects of narcotics usage in India and its prevention methods. It also provides the premier interdisciplinary forum for youths and front-line leaders through Narcotics Free India Movement.
The Narcotic Free India Summit #NFIS2020 comes comprehensively under SDG-3:Good health and well Being. In short NYCI aims to support a balanced public health-oriented approach to the drug problem by working to end discrimination against, and promote interventions for, people who use drugs; and strengthening the access to comprehensive, evidence-based, and gender-responsive services for prevention of drug use and treatment of substance drug use disorders, including as an alternative to conviction or punishment.
