National Youth Council of India holds 2 Guinness World Records for creating mass impact on Youth. National Youth council of India has impacted more than 10 Million students through Chennai international Youth Festival (CIYF), other national events and workshops.

NYCI has been recognised with the State Award from Department of Health and Family Welfare, Government of Tamil Nadu. NYCI is the only organisation on in the country to take up the challenge of youth empowerment. National Youth council of India is the organiser for Special Olympics International Football Championship.
