Reliance Infrastructure Ltd., which recently declared its intention to seek new capital to support its operations and became debt-free, stated on Tuesday that it would invest Rs10,000 crore in an integrated defense project in the Ratnagiri area of Maharashtra. The business says that over the next ten years, the Dhirubhai Ambani Defence City (DADC) project will be built on a 1,000-acre plot of land in Ratnagiri, Maharashtra’s Watad Industrial Area.

Reliance Infrastructure Ltd (RInfra) recorded a consolidated net profit of ₹4,082.53 crore for the July-September quarter of 2024-25, owing to lower expenses. According to a regulatory filing, the company experienced a net loss of ₹294.04 crore from July to September of the previous fiscal year 2023-24.
The September quarter’s bottom line was bolstered by exceptional gains of ₹3,575.27 crore, which included income of ₹80.97 crore from the arbitration claim received and gain on debt settlement, according to a company filing. Over the same quarter last year, the company’s total income dropped slightly to ₹7,345.96 crore from ₹7,373.49 crore. Costs decreased from ₹7,100.66 crore to ₹6,450.38 crore during the same period last year.
