PSU stocks HUDCO, Cochin Shipyard among 13 additions into FTSE All-World index

The global index provider FTSE said on Friday that 13 Indian equities were now included in the FTSE All-World Index. Large and mid-cap equities from several countries are included in this index; the most recent additions were from India.

GE T&D India, Hitachi Energy India, Bank of Maharashtra, Bharat Dynamics, Central Bank of India, Cochin Shipyard, Endurance Technologies, Escorts Kubota, Housing and Urban Development Corporation (HUDCO), IRB Infrastructure Developers, KEI Industries, Lloyds Metals and Energy, and Motilal Oswal Financial Services are among the Indian stocks that have been added to the FTSE All-World Index.

Approximately 90% of the global equity market is represented by the FTSE All-World Index, which is intended to reflect the performance of large- and mid-cap firms in both established and emerging markets. It serves as the foundation for financial instruments such as exchange-traded funds (ETFs), funds, and derivatives.

Fourteen stocksโ€”Bharat Dynamics, Dixon Technologies, Jindal Stainless, Linde India, Mazagon Dock Shipbuilders, Oil India, Oracle Financial Services Software, PB Fintech, Phoenix Mills, Prestige Estates Projects, Rail Vikas Nigam Limited (RVNL), Thermax, Torrent Power, and UNO Mindaโ€”were added to the FTSE Large Cap Index in addition to these changes.

Adani Wilmar, Page Industries, Tata Elxsi, Adani Wilmar, and One 97 Communications (Paytm) were among the stocks that were taken off of the index, nevertheless.

Adani Wilmar, Bank of Maharashtra, Central Bank of India, Cochin Shipyard, Endurance Technologies, Escorts Kubota, GE T&D India, Hitachi Energy India, HUDCO, IRB Infrastructure, KEI Industries, Lloyds Metals and Energy, Motilal Oswal Financial Services, Paytm, Page Industries, Tata Elxsi, and UPL are among the companies that have changed in the FTSE Mid Cap Index. Several companies were left out of this index: PB Fintech, Phoenix Mills, Prestige Estates, RVNL, Thermax, Torrent Power, Oil India, Linde India, Jindal Stainless, Linde India, Mazagon Dock, and UNO Minda.
