NSE Q2 Results: Net Profit Soars 57% to ₹3,137 Crore, Total Income Jumps 25% YoY!

The National Stock Exchange (NSE) said on Monday that its consolidated net profit for the September quarter increased by 57% year over year to Rs 3,137 crore. During July-September of the current fiscal year (FY25), the exchange reported total revenue of Rs 5,023 crore, a 25% increase from the previous year. Other revenue lines, which mostly consist of clearing services, data center & connectivity costs, listing services, index services, and data services, bolstered the revenue from operations in addition to trading revenue, the exchange stated in a statement.

According to an ET report, the average daily traded volume (ADTV) of the cash market also increased by 66% to Rs 1,29,194 crore from the previous year.

NSE IPO Details

According to those acquainted with the situation, the NSE filed a new application for an IPO no objection certificate with the Securities and Exchange Board of India in August. The action was taken when SEBI notified the Delhi High Court that the NSE had not submitted a new application. NDTV Profit was previously informed that the NSE’s request for a NOC is the first step in the IPO launch process. The company creates the draft red herring prospectus, which contains crucial details about its financial situation and business plan, after obtaining the NOC from SEBI.
