EV and other passenger car sales increased by 2% to 47,117 units. On the other hand, sales of commercial vehicles fell 1% to 27,636.
Tata Motors’ total sales stood at 74,753 units
The overall sales of Tata Motors in November 2024 were 74,753 units, representing a 0.78% increase over the 74,172 units sold in November 2023. In November 2024, domestic sales reached 73,246 units, a 1% YoY increase. Trucks, buses, and other Medium & Heavy Intermediate Commercial Vehicles (MH&ICV) Domestic & International Business sales were 13,230 units in November 2024, a 2.6% increase over 12,895 units sold in the same month the previous year. MH&ICV sales domestically increased 1.45% to 12,481 units in November 2024 from 12,303 units in November 2023. In November 2024, there were 47,117 passenger vehicles sold, a 2% increase over the 46,143 sold in November 2023.
In addition, according to the company’s most recent investor presentation, Tata Motors has stated that the Sierra’s introduction will occur in the second half of 2025. Both internal combustion engine (ICE) and all-electric powertrain options will be available for the Sierra. Following the same strategy as the Tata Curvv, the Sierra EV will be released before the ICE variant. In August 2024, the Curvv EV made its debut, and in September 2024, the Curvv ICE followed.

This sales data caused Tata Motors’ shares to rise 1% to Rs. 795 on the BSE on Monday. With a market valuation of Rs. 2,89,638 crore, the stock has risen 82% over the last two years despite a 30% drop over the last three months.
